Job Title: LabView Software Engineer

Location: Bishop’s Stortford, Hertfordshire
An exciting role for a full time LabView Developer is available at Optical Metrology Services (OMS). Strong analytical and mathematics skills are a key requirement and extensive experience with statistical analysis and algorithm development is necessary. The software we develop controls and analyses the data from our suite of state of the art laser based measuring equipment in order to graphically display the results and analyse the data.
Requirements:
• Minimum of five years LabView experience
• Computer Science / Physics / Engineering degree minimum
• Strong mathematics and analytical skills
• Must be capable of working unsupervised and within a team
• Must be capable of working to meet tight deadlines
• Have a customer focus and see the product from the users point of view
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills
Desirable:
• Knowledge of optical measurement techniques
• Understanding of signal processing and digital filtering
• An understanding of electronics and standard test equipment
• Experience in other object oriented programming languages
• Customer support contact
Salary:
• Commensurate with experience up to 45K
• Package includes performance related bonus
