I'm certainly interested in getting onto the certification ladder, so would be very interested in doing a CLAD exam during the CLUG meeting.
Thanks, Phil....

Hi everyone,

After another successful user group meeting on the 13th January, where I gave a presentation about the certification exams, a couple of people expressed interest in taking the CLAD exam at a future meeting.

I have spoken to the NI UK Customer Education coordinator and we can arrange this, so I would like to tack on a CLAD exam to the next user group session. Please could you let me know if you would be interested in taking the exam.

You can find some information regarding example que...

For those interested, there is an interesting example of using LabVIEW and Google Wave. Simply go to google wave http://wave.google.com/wave/ (if you don't have account, I can send you an "invitation" ), and search for labview with: public . There is a discussion titled "LabVIEW and Google Wave" started by Magnus Hummelgård.

Hi Dave,

Thanks for the post. It's always good to hear about new engineers graduating from University with LabVIEW skills.

Did you specifically want a job in the Cambridge region? I know of a couple of companies and can pass your details on when opportunities come up.

Have you spoken to the local NI Field Engineer for Loughborough? Rob Lee looks after that area and would be a good person to keep in touch with as he may know people in that area.

Please feel free to send me your contact details an...

Hi Richard,

Thanks for the post, I personally agree that scripting has the potential to open up a lot of new opportunities and applications that LabVIEW can be used for, that it was previously not suitable for, and also that it could potentially cause users a lot of pain if used when not needed.

We have several cases of both NI and customers using scripting to increase productivity and functionality. One of my favourite ones so far is the additions to the Quick Drop tool in LabVIEW 2009. Once you are ...

Have you taken the CLD exam yet Jakub?

It is a worthwhile examination, but can be quite difficult.
I recently passed the CLD :-D , and thought it was quite tough. I had prepared by downloading and studying the past-exams with solutions available on NI's website.

There's also a lot of good advice on the NI Discussion Forums, so that's worth a trawl. Let us know how you do!

Next on the list .. Certified Architect! ...
